Applicants must be British subjects, between 17 and 30 years old and a member of a University or an approved College, preferably in the first year of studies and must pass a medical examination. No previous military experience is required.

In order to become a member of WUOTC you must satisfy the following conditions:

You must be in tertiary education in Wales.
You must be over 17.5 but under 27 years of age.
You must hold a British Passport.
You must attend the Assessment weekend.
You must pass a medical examination.
